Every Time You Look Around

An Interactive Public Art Project by David Clark & Kim Morgan

“Every time You Look Around” is an interactive public art project that uses a tourist telescope installed in downtown Halifax. The stereoscopic viewer inside the telescope shows a computer generated version of the surroundings. As you swivel the telescope you see more of the landscape but then as you move the telescope back you will see that the buildings have been replaced by famous tourist sites. This piece transforms the ordinary cityscape of Halifax into a ultra-tourist attraction.

This piece uses interactive game engine technology and stereoscopic vision.
